Advanced amorphous silicon technology
Reliable cell technology: stable and durable.
High energy yield: approximately 15% higher than c-Si
panels
Proven outdoor performance: the injected polymer frame gives the
best protection againt corrosion.
Expected panel lifetime more than 20 years.
Europe's Premier Solar Manufacturer
In 1985, the factory of Free Energy Europe was founded in the north of France
; the manufacturing concept was, and still is, an advanced, robust and cost
effective process for producing thin film solar panels. In the meantime, more
than 250.000 solar panels have been produced and sold.
Free
Energy Europe produces thin film solar panels in the power range of 5 to 19
watts and with a voltage output suitable for charging 12 volt batteries. Solar
electricity panels from Free Energy Europe are mainly used as a “solar battery
charger” in standalone applications; the majority of the panels are used in
small “solar home systems” in developing countries, all over the
world.
Solar panels from Free Energy Europe are normally
installed and maintained by the end-user himself. A basic system is no more than
a solar panel, a charge regulator, a battery and a few lights or a black/white
television set. The system is expandable with a second, a third or a fourth
panel afterwards. The expected lifetime of Free Energy Europe panels is
more than 20 years. This is more than double the lifetime of many competitive
solar panels.
